What does Hope In Christ Ministry believe about the Bible?

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and final Word of God. It is our ultimate authority for what we believe and how we live, and we preach and teach directly from Scripture.

What do you believe about salvation, repentance, and being “born again”?

We believe all people are sinners in need of a Savior and that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Being “born again” means turning from sin (repentance), trusting Christ as Lord and Savior, receiving a new spiritual life, and receiving the assurance of eternal life.

What is your view of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit (including speaking in tongues)?

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and actively working today—saving, sanctifying, empowering, and guiding believers. We affirm the biblical gifts of the Spirit, including speaking in tongues, and believe they should be exercised decently, in order, and under the authority of Scripture.

Which Bible translation do you primarily use for preaching and teaching?

We primarily use the King James Version (KJV) and/or the New International Version (NIV) for preaching, teaching, and study. Our heart is to use clear, faithful translations that help people understand and apply God’s Word.
